WHO CAN REGISTER FOR BEACH CLUB? 

Girls and boys who:

• are 18 and under
• want to learn the sport of beach volleyball
• want to improve their doubles volleyball game
• want to improve their indoor volleyball skills

 

2024 BEACH CLUB COSTS

$1000 per person

• Payment schedule: A deposit of $400 will be required upon enrollment and is non-refundable, payments of $300 are due June 1st and July 1st.
• Does not include AVP membership (Silver membership or above)  or USA volleyball membership which are both required.
• Payments can be made by cash, check, or credit card (with a 3% processing fee)
• Payments should be made to Colorado Springs Altitude

*Cancellation/Refund policy: no refund/no cancellation. Beach Club has limited membership; by accepting, a spot is being denied to another individual. Exception may be made for medical reasons only, Request will be submitted to the Board of Directors for consideration. 

 

 

OUR TRAINING FACILITY: IVP BEACH HOUSE

We have partnered with IVP Beach House for all of our sand training, featuring 12 courts, a restaurant, and lots of room.

2024 BEACH CLUB - PRACTICE

We use the first 1-2 weeks to determine training groups based on experience and/or age.  

• dates: May 6, 2024- August 1, 2024
• practice days: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 3:45-5:45 pm @ IVP Beach House
• NO practice: May 27, 2024 (Memorial Day); July 4, 2024

*Practice policy:  If you miss a practice, there are no make-up practices.

Weather Cancellation Policy**  Athletes practice rain or shine. However, as you know living in Colorado,  the weather can be unpredictable. The safety and well-being of our athletes are our first priority. So if there are weather-related concerns, we may cancel a lesson. If there is a cancellation due to severe weather, we will make every effort to post it on our BEACH CALENDAR  before practice.  There are no make-up practices for weather-related cancellations.

 

AVP MEMBERSHIP

• This is the insurance that allows players to step foot onto the court.  It is required for all AVP programs and events (NWJRs AVP Programs: Beach Academy, Beach Clinics, Spring Training, Beach Club, and all AVP Tournaments).  
• Membership type must be SILVER ($25) or greater to participate in tournaments.  Register for membership: https://avp.com/membership-sign-up/

DO NOT choose a Bronze membership. You will not be able to play in tournaments!

ALREADY have AVP membership?  It’s important to note that linked parent accounts are the only ones able to renew and/or upgrade memberships for U18 members.  This can be handled by a parent logging into their own AVP account, clicking into their linked child’s account, and renewing/upgrading via the Account Settings page.

Proof of AVP Membership should be e-mailed to:  coloradospringsaltitude@gmail.com
**Membership must show the player's name, and type of membership, with an expiration date.  It will be kept on file for the season.

 

 

RECOMMENDED TOURNAMENTS FOR BEACH CLUB MEMBERS

**Tournament fees are not included in the CSA Beach Club dues.  We list recommended tournaments, but it is up to the player to find a partner and register in tournaments that work with their schedule. 

There are many tournaments held throughout the region.  The tournaments listed below are held by RMR volleyball and are USA volleyball affiliated.
