Coaching Experience

HEAD VOLLEYBALL COACH COLORADO SPRINGS ALTITUDE VOLLEYBALL CLUB

JUNE 2003-PRESENT

I coach club volleyball for a USA Volleyball junior volleyball club. I have coached girls from the age of 11 through 18. I co-founded the volleyball club in 2003 with the intent of providing an environment for girls to learn the game of volleyball and to compete at a high level.

 

C-SQUAD VOLLEYBALL COACH PINE CREEK HIGH SCHOOL

JUNE 2015-2016

I coached under the previous head coach. My duties included running the C squad team, assisting with the Varsity program, and taking statistics at all levels.

 

COACHING DIRECTOR COLORADO SPRINGS ALTITUDE VOLLEYBALL CLUB

JUNE 2016-2018

 I was responsible for the coaching staff at CSAVBC. Those responsibilities include hiring, firing, teaching, consulting, and collaborating with a staff of 22 coaches.

 

VICE PRESIDENT COLORADO SPRINGS ALTITUDE VOLLEYBALL CLUB

JUNE 2013-2019

I volunteered with the Board of Directors as the Vice President of the club. My duties include keeping the club compliant with 501C3 non-profit regulations, USA Volleyball Safe Sport requirements, and filling in the role of President in his absence.

 

PRESIDENT COLORADO SPRINGS ALTITUDE VOLLEYBALL CLUB

JUNE 2019-PRESENT

I volunteer with the Board of Directors as the President of the club. My duties include setting an agenda for club board meetings, oversight of Club employees, recruiting board and committee members, keeping the club compliant with 501C3 non-profit regulations, USA Volleyball Safe Sport requirements.

JUNE 2008-PRESENT

I currently run a construction company specializing in remodeling and new construction. I run projects ranging from $500.00 to $1,000,000.00 working closely with homeowners, subcontractors, investors, and banks.

 

 

About Coach Kris:

Coaching volleyball is a passion for me. I have been a lead court coach for camps at Boise State University since 2012, volunteered with the USA High-Performance program 2011- 2014, and run numerous high school team camps in the Colorado Springs area. I maintain coaching certifications with USA Volleyball which include CAP 1, VCT Specialist, Impact, and Safe Sport.
